Does anyone know how many turns the needle in the IAC screws into the unit.Ive screwed it all the way.Thanks.
I don't think it screws in does it ? it just slides in and out. either way you should not 'screw' around with it. The ECU will adjust the position automatically to achieve correct idle speed. Without checking with gregory i think you are meant to set the needle at about 24mm ? and fit the IAC to the throttle body ... and cross your fingers.
It doesn't matter about how many turns, the distance from the tip of the pintle (needle) to the flat part of the valve body should be less than 28mm. Push the pintle in if the distance is greater.
