ive got the 235/45 17" on my 17x8's and very good grip dry and wet and wear rate is good.
i wouldn't buy tyres off ebay, but that's just me.
I have 235/40/18's on mine, they seem to be the standard for 18x8 rims. Don't cheap out on the tyres, but I haven't used enough different ones to give you advice on what to get

235/40/18`s on mine there nexxan silica compond ones cheap as though
chinese or korean made.
on the nankang site it says the 235/40/18 are for 18x8.5 rims?
how much do you think theyd set me back for a set of 4?

pretty sure i got mine for about $120 a tyre fitted and ballanced.
prob just check with the tyre place for sizes, the nankang ns2 has silica compond also
I had 235's on my old ute on 18x8's they were kuhmos, it wasnt very low though.

i got them from a specialist tyre place here in toowoomba qld, streetart wheels.
either that maybe give the wholesaler in your state a call to see who sells them.

ive been through quite a few brands of tyres but i like these the most, especially for the price performance point.
