    Question What type of Wheels/Tyres

Look guys my tires are almost in need of replacing and I was wondering if I should upgrade to real wheels instead of my stocko's with hubcaps lol. I have a 1996 commodore VS like fully stock almost (white paint) and was just wondering what Wheels/Tryes to get. I understand that the minimum wheel size on a commodore should be 17" (to look decent) and I want alloys (preferably just like a standard 5 or 6 spoke wheel ) not any shiny chrome crap. Just wondering is the best place to go, Bob Jane? And what cost do you think I would be looking at for either 17s or 18s with tyres. I thought for 17s and tyres like $1000-1200 and 18s with tyres $1500-1700? Is that about right? Im looking to spend the least money possible as well, as I am a cheap bastard lol.

I think you can get a set of 17inch with rubber for under $1000 at Bob Jane?

K sweet, yeah I looked into second hand wheels but I would probably have to go to the wreckers here and they rarely have full sets of non damaged wheels. Under a 1000 for 17s and rubber sweet as mate ill go check it out.

Those prices are about right. When you have a few more posts here keep an eye on the for sale section as well, and you might be able to find a bargain. If you are looking to save money then 2nd hand is probably the go
