    Default Transmission Lines

I have knackered my transmision lines trying to un hook them What I was wondering is can I use a length of hydralic hose inplace of the steel line or if I needed the steel line due to the pressure? Surely it wouldnt matter as there is a small length on the end anyway.

i would try and use as little hose as possible, over time it could deterioate and cause damage.

i have seen some cars with a section of rubber hose to join the metal pipe.......

imo i would try and get a new line from somewhere wreckers etc

Just install a trans cooler, use the hose they give you and connect from there. I posted not long ago asking how ot undo them etc etc. But the hose seems fine as there is hose in the line anyway in some sections.

You can buy trans cooler hose from any auto shop.

Double clamp it with the best clamps you can get.
