    Default vr cruise control

    hi i have vr s2 with a cruise fault it turns on but will not engage i have replaced the stalk but made no diferance is there any one that has had the same fault ? would apreciate any advice regards ivan

    check your brake lights, sounds silly but if you have one globe out it dosent reconise the voltage drop.

    There are 2 brake switches on the pedal - either can go out of adjustment and prevent CC engaging. Also check fuses.

    Yep as above, check brake globes and check the brake pedal switch is not shorted

    Just to confirm, you do need to be doing at least about 50km/hr for the cruise to set. A faulty instrument cluster will also cause the problem you are describing if you find the other fixes dont help.

    40km/h acutely if it matters at all

    same issue..my brake lights were out (alternator issue ><) once that was my new alternator was in all my electrical issues were fixed

    thanks heaps working fine now turned out to be a faulty cruise control switch on the brake pedal regards ivan
