im about to change the alternator on my v6 vr. is there anything i should know going in?

- Cammed mafless VS Calais 5-speed.
I'm considering doing the same thing actually. Mine is making a horrible grinding noise. Are the Bosch ones from supercheap a good option?

The Bosh ones are fine. Sounds like yours might need a new bearing which would be a much cheaper option if it is still working alright.

change your belts if they are crappy while you are at it
