Hey gobbles, I've got a vx2 v6 auto and i'm pretty sure that the IRS in both cars is the same. This Friday i'll be getting 3.46 diff gears put in and i've found that the easiest way is to replace the diff centre assembly for one with with the ratio's you want. If you live near SE Qld try giving Mal Wood a call, the man's a genius with this sort of stuff. PH- 4661 3548.

He's in Warick, about 45min south of Toowomba.

    Website- www.malwoodauto.com.au

Prices should be - 3.46 ratio $1315 installed
    3.73 ratio $1715 installed

That price gives you brand new gears, brand new lsd, brand new bearings, installed, speedo recalibrated, drive in drive out.

PS- that's on an exchange basis, he keep's your's, you get his.

He's told me that it'll take an hour maybe two to do the whole job, but we'll see when i get there. Living on the Gold Coast you should be able to get it all done in a day easy, i'm comming down from Gladstone, no-one up here has enough brains to be trustworthy!
