Whats some good tires out there for the cash? keeping in mind im not a rich man.

some prices ive seen

$110 each, $440 the set for Symex
$120 each, $480 the set for Diamonback
$150 each, $600 the set for Maxxis
$180 each, $720 the set for Bridgstone
$239 each, $956 the set for Pirellis

any other good, budget brands out there that we know of (eg, goodyear, khumo, yokohama etc etc)?

at the moment im running on worn bridgestones on the rear, and retreaded falkens on the front.

any help is appreciated.

I run the kumo ecsta?? on my last wheels, seemed ok and were around 120 i think. There not great but there better than some cheapo no name brand stuff.

I recently bought a VS Ute and it came with an almost brand new set of Neuton Tyres 235/45/17 and well i cant doubt them yet and i have had quite a bit of fun. They may be a cheap price but are not made of cheap quality materials and have a nice little lip to prevent gutter rash.

I run the Goodyear Eagle F1's, found them to be a good grip, good wearing tyre. Round about $200 each in the Newcastle area, which seems to be dearer than most other places (can't get that size tyre around here for less than $165)

I'm running Sumitomo HPR-Z2's.

Found them for $160ea.

Good value for a high performance tyre.
