Default Will this wreck my tint?

Probably a stupid question, but I have midnight tint on my winows, and Im wondering if sticking suction cap window shades on the windows would wreck it? Just making sure before I do it incase I ruin a $300 tinting job
    Thanks.

it shouldn't but anything that is stuck there for any amount of time leaves an opportunity for small scratches.
As far as i know as long as it is metallic flake (?) tint which is almost always used now you wont have any issues with fade unless it is there for a lifetime.

Is your tint not dark enough to start with ?
I wouldn't put anything on there just in case you do damage it...

i wouldnt have thought it would damage it being rubber suction cups.. ring the joint you got the tint from n see what they say. how long have you had the tint on there for?

i've had the suction cups from my P plates on my tint , didnt leave any marks or scratchs.

I just rang the tinting place, the guy said that he did it to his wifes car and it did no damage, but if it does get damaged, they wont cover it with warranty and that they see heaps of cars with them on and only the occasional one has damage. So, basically its up to the individual. Hope this helps out anyone else that has this question.

good job getting back to us. the number of members that ask for advice, get the answer then never fill us in is huge.
    Positive rep given.
