dash cluster swap over

hey guys was just wondering if i get a dash cluster from the wreckers with a tacho in it will it swap over easy as i dont have one and iam not a real fan of the fully sick monster 5 inch gangster tacho's. its a vs also

As long as its from a VR/S it will be fine. Check ebay and make sure you get a V8 one or v6 if thats what you got or the tacho will read out or wont work. You can convert them How to convert a V6 tacho to suit a V8

yeah so it will fit all good but will i just need to wire up the tacho or will there be wires in there already?

it just plugs in with i think 3 socket bits in the back, pull the old one out push the new one in, can do it in 5 minutes

If your just after a tacho in the dash. Grab the level 2 cluster. They got the quater circle like tacho and the temp and fuel gauges are ontop of each other on one side. Dont get the Level 3 cluster as you will need to make wiring mods to get the trip computers to work, the level 3 cluster has the full half circle tacho and the 3 little display LCD's in the bottom of it.

yeah i was only gunna get the level 2 one. but will i need to wire up the tacho or do i just plug in the three things in the back and the tacho will work is mainly what i wanted to know

Grab the level 2 and plug it in and its all good. Level 3 you will have to make the wiring mods.

haha just did what i did! i went the hard way but hey its diffrent!
still has to be filled around and painted in this pic lol!
