!!!!!help help i cant open my bonnet!!!!

i went to open my bonnet today on my vr and it dusnt open.
i pulled the lever many times slow and fast but it feels like its not grabbing whatever it is supposed to be grabbing.

please help as i have some urgent work to do on the car.

anything would be great.

have you tried having someone pull the lever at the same time as your trying to lift the bonnet up

Sometimes a little push on the bonnet just above where the mechanism is, as someone else is pulling back the lever can pop the bonnet.

You need a new bonnet cable from gmh,you have to pry the latch from underneath why holding the bonnet release or or push down in certain parts of the bonnet

lol yeah happend to me on a VL ended up killing the bonnet with a crowbar if theres no tension at all = cable snap , if there is a small bit of tension wire has stretched

also where the lever is in the car find the cable its connected to get some plyers or multgrips n pull it as hard as u can while someone push's down on the bonnet.

if it makes a clicking noise as if its not catching try banging on the front end of the bonnet as u pull the lever

Yeah with my VS 50% of the time someone has to push down gently whilst I pull the lever to open it
