vs 5ltr manual conversion engine light

i have this drama wiht my statesman since ive done the manual conversion. first its runs very rough (think it might be the leads) and the engine light is staying on but no codes come up. im curently running a vr box with no loom...so would that be the cause of the engine light..because ive heard you dont need the loom. any ideas?

hey mate. cant help you with your engine light sorry just wanted to ask you about your conversion. did you swap engine and gearbox? i've got a 5.0L vs auto ute and wanted to swap over to manual. everyone's told me its too hard and not worth it. is that the case? how much did it cost and where did you sourse your parts from? cheers mate. any help appreciated.
