Default Electric Window Motor Wire Help

My passenger side rear window the wire that feeds through the motor is stuffed, it's all tangled up and broken, what's the easiest way to replace it? take everything out or is it easier to do in there.

I like electric windows but they seem a prick to fix, not much room.

ok ive pulled the regulator out, the motor works fine and top wire that pulls the window up is fine the wire to pull the window down was stuffed all threaded and tangled.

Rang holden but they no long sell any electric window parts for vs's. Anyone got any suggestions? I guess the wreckers is really the only option or find somewhere to buy a whole new rear door reg kit.

You will pick up a regualtor at the wreckers for around 40-55bux. I actually did my drivers side abt 2weeks ago.

It looks hard at first, but once u take the trim off, and the plastic protecter off, it is fairly roomy to do it. Just make sure you line up thee rails properly so the window will go up n down. And also make sure your rivets are lined up properly.

*special rivets from holden are about 2bux each.
dont worry, il start a ride thread soon.

Had the same problem, wire that runs through the pulleys just gets tangled and dies. Got a replacement off ebay for about $50, put it in and I just used bolts to replace the rivets.

you dont happen to know how it was or what you searched for, cause i found front electric aftermarket replacements on ebay but no one has rear ones, ive even asked the guys selling the front ones about rears and they say they dont make them.
