If you are replacing it, make sure that you get the correct one, there are two different types, one for vehicles with a solid rear axle, and one for vehicles with the independant rear suspension (IRS). The VS acclaim had IRS, but I'm not sure about VR.

Two different fuel filters? What kind of rubbish is that?
Car theives should be treated just like horse theives and cattle rustlers in the days of the wild west... Hang them!

u sure? i highly doubt as i changed the one on me mates VS Calais (irs) and it is exactly identical to the one on my vs (live axel) as far as im aware they used the same fuel filter from vn-vs regardless of irs or not. The only one that used a different one was the earlier vn's as they had a larger filter (dunno why but they did)

What the hell does IRS or live axel have to do with a fuel filter? One doesn't interfere with the other...... They have nothing to do with each other. Same fuel filter on my live axel VP, as the one on my VS Senator....

There are 2 size's, a big one n a lil one, both work, jsut if the mount will hold the opp one, zip tie will fix that tho. the big one is meant for VN/VP but repco still sell em to ya

Mine had a big one now its a lil one, stil a fuel filter, just one is bigger, to hold more crap.
