Only advice I can give you is to lay the towbar on the ground directly under where it will attach to the car. Then mentally raise the bar and visualise/figure what holes already exist and what ones need to be drilled (if any). You may find instructions at the HR website. Don't think you will need to pull the tank.

Not sure mine just had a tow bar in when i bought it. Under the back i did notice some bolt heads for it, and i cant imagine they were there before so i think they drilled them. But unfortunatly i cant be much more help than that.

I have done so any question just ask

But no need to remove rear bar or fuel tank..

Your tow bar should have come with 2 top plates which sit on the floor under the carpet, bolts with sleeve/spacers and the towbar itself.

Its much easier with two people, but underneath you will see holes, get a centrepunch and line it up inside the holes, use a hammer and give it a decent hit, you should see punch marks where you need to drill your holes!

One of the holes on the drivers side actually shares the bolt for the fuel tank strap (You will see the nylon washer that it replaces) so make sure the tank is supported when you undo this bolt.

Get someone to support the towbar underneath while you drop the bolts through, make sure you use the spacers on the bolts and tighten everything up.

    Thats about it, have fun.

I believe you can buy the proper loom from GMH. It is only a short one and plugs into the brake/tail light/indicator loom. To access it you need to remove the panel that covers the rear right hand side speaker. It is held in place with a dozen of so plastic clips that just pull out. Once you do that you will find the loom socket near the tail light assembly.
