##weird gushing noise in dashboard??

i have a vr exec and everytime i turn the aircon on i get like a gushing sound in the dash. it sounds like water trying to squeeze through a small pipe. it definately has something to do with the aircon because it only does it when i have it on. the aircon works fine otherwise. the sound gets louder when i floor the car or accelerate harder
what is this???

Most common issue to make this type of noise is air the heater core. Check the coolant and bleed if needed - have the heater on when you do this. With the VS there is a blled screw in the top of the thermostat housing.

If the gushing noise doesn't happen when the temp control is turned to cold (fully clockwise) then that would confirm that it is air in the heater matrix....it should not happen when turned to cold as (in theory) the heater tap is turned off and no coolant flows thru the heater matrix.
