Which DFI Mod For A VS?

Today i recieved the new module.Removed the old one and attempted to put the new one on.No good.Plug wouldnt go into new one like the old one.And even when you push on the plug to connect module,the bolt wont tighten the plug.Just keeps turning with some play between the securing plug bolt head and plug.
Looked into the hole where the securing plug bolt goes in and theres a little bit of something in there.Looks like its supposed to be there,or is it? But on my old one its clear and tightens down no problem.
Push plug in by hand cause it cant be tightened by securing bolt to see if itll start.Wont start just cranks over.Put the old one back on,and starts first go again.I was told would do VN+.And was told would fit a VS.Is this right? And why wont it go on like the old one does? And how do i do a test on old module with a test light? Thanks.

VS has a different shaped DFI to previous models - you'd think the person on Ebay selling them would know that! - has been covered before on this forum. I think they can be 'altered' to fit so do a search.
