Vr Oil Leak

Hi all im new and am after some info
My car has been leaking Trans/powersteering fluid it only leaks when i have been running the vehicle and turn it off i had it checked and they said something about an oil stain on the speedo transducer i dont know where that is located but am wondering what else would do it also when i drove at 100kmh or over the engine light comes on why is that cheers all for any help

Check your trans fluid level as it may be low which could cause the engine light to come on (hopefully as otherwise it could be expensive). Also have a look under the car to locate exactly where the leak is...if they said there is a stain on the speedo transducer I think on the VR its towards the rear of the trans.

Then the leaking oil is a minor problem....try cheching for error codes...read this "how-to":

how do i tell if a rear main seal is leaking

Colour of the oil - not red like trans fluid. You really need to degrease the rear of the engine to make sure the leak is not coming from a rocker cover.
