VR engine just dies help!

a hot day stuck in traffic has cooked something. I can run for about 10-15 mins and then she just dies. wait 20 mins and let her cool down and she starts sweet and goes for another 10-15 mins. engine cranks over fine but just wont fire. any clues please.

Check out the crank angle sensor. I had a similar problem except that I was able to restart it straight away. Check if it is putting out any codes.

thanks, after I had calmed down I checked error codes and found 47,48 so crank sensor it is. will get a new one monday cheers.
