vx auto in vs?

HI there was just wondering if any of you guys here know if a vx auto box (from V6) would be able to be fitted into a VS without any dramas. Its for my dads ute the original auto is a lil how ya going and this one outa a vx is schmick. any help would be apprreciated

I don't think you would have many dramas bolting the 2 together as they pretty much both run the same ecotec motor ect but im not sure if the VX box would be compatible with the VS ECU? anyway best of luck mate!

The bellhousing will apparently not clear your exhaust without some modification. I was told the vx has some electronics in the box that the vs has a separate box for, and that it wouldnt be worth the effort if it did end up working.
