Default How do I get the heater hose fitting out of the back of the inlet manifold?

I've got a 1994 VR V6 Series 1 on LPG. Have just found a broken heater hose fitting at the back of the inlet manifold. There's a bolt next to the fitting that I've taken out, but the remainder of the fitting still won't come out. Any suggestions? I don't wanna go gluing the broken-off piece back onto the rest of the fitting, 'cos I can see it breaking off again, and I doubt that there's enough of the fitting left to simply re-connect the heater hose to that.

its a bad job but it can be done
you have to smash it up and drag it out piece bye piece, its a long job expecily on the rear but it must be done.

on the other hand you might be able to pry it out full but unlikley.

also i have found you can get stainless stel ones of these fittings now, cost a bit more but will last longer than the plastic ones....

I had the same problem the other week and after breaking the other similar piece on the front i decided it was easier to take of the manifold.Used the same gasket saved $50. Pocketed the bit from the wreckers cost me $1 entry.Bit of stuffing around but fairly simple.Works fine now
