can you squeez 245 45 17's onto a vs ute?

dont wonna fit up the tyres to test.
will they scrape the struts?
and will the scrub in the rear?

Hey mate
You will find that on the front they will not have enough clearance next to the strut tower. The best thing to do is put 5mm spacers about $40.00 in to clear the towers, the rears should be fine. But your best bet is to put 235/40s on the rims, which should get you out of trouble. Also be careful if you have or are going to lower the Ute with 45s as when you turn if you hit a bump you will crush your guards on the front.
