Default Whirring noise from front tyre

I have a whirring noise comming from the front tyre whilst driving. I think its uneven wear on the front tyre? A guy I used to talk to recons that the easiest way to fix it is to rotate it to the back and do a shhhkid. He used to talk a lot of shit, but is he right? or is there a legal way to fix it
heh i recon he said it to get me to do one, cause i could never justify wasting cash on tyres when i could spend it on boooze

Uneven tyre wear can be due to worn suspension components, incorrect tyre pressure or you need a wheel alignment. I think you should disregard your mates advice and find the cause of the tyre wear. Also, some tyres are just noisy.

Tyre`s that are made in china, korea etc.. (cheap tyres) usually come with extensive road noise.

I replaced both front bearings and hubs on my VS at a cost of almost $650 and the rumble turned out to be cheap Chinese tyres. Easy check is rotate front tyres to back....forget the burnout.
