I have a whirring noise comming from the front tyre whilst driving. I think its uneven wear on the front tyre? A guy I used to talk to recons that the easiest way to fix it is to rotate it to the back and do a shhhkid. He used to talk a lot of shit, but is he right? or is there a legal way to fix it
heh i recon he said it to get me to do one, cause i could never justify wasting cash on tyres when i could spend it on boooze
Uneven tyre wear can be due to worn suspension components, incorrect tyre pressure or you need a wheel alignment. I think you should disregard your mates advice and find the cause of the tyre wear. Also, some tyres are just noisy.
MY RIDE
I thought I was wrong once but I was mistaken.
Tyre`s that are made in china, korea etc.. (cheap tyres) usually come with extensive road noise.
maybe even your bearings?

I replaced both front bearings and hubs on my VS at a cost of almost $650 and the rumble turned out to be cheap Chinese tyres. Easy check is rotate front tyres to back....forget the burnout.
yeah i dont live giving my car shit, i recon it would be cheap tyres then. i got them with the mags I think they are called Duruns.
Thanks for the help
a vehicle that has been towed in due to a bump on a gutter or a big pot hole can cause anybrand of tyer to whurrrrrr down the road, this will more than likly rip in inner edge off the tyer
