    Talking supercharged vs calais.

hey all im new to the club i just sold my crappy lemon it was a nissan exa full show pearl orange stezza etc..

i am now purchasing a 1997 series ll supercharged calais.

its pretty stock only mods are lowered tinted windows and exhaust. the interior is immaculate no rips or tears. exterior has no dents its in show room condition.
    its colour is quick silver.

    has 80'000 on the clock.
what would a good price be to pay for the car.????

just so i dont go over board... cheers aaron...

What are they asking for it? They're damn good engines and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. By todays standards they're not the fastest or most technologically advanced but the are damn reliable, reasonably easy to work on yourself and parts aren't expensive.

Compare that in the VS model, the supercharged 6 put out 165kw. The 5L V8 put out 168kw. Difference is the 6 gave excellent torque straight off the line.

I bought mine three years ago with 99,000kms on the clock for $10,500. But mine also came with logbook and all service receipts. I guess $8000 might be realistic but it depends on how bad you want to buy it compared to how bad the seller want to sell it.

If you keep the ks down and keep it clean and tidy, no dints/scratches/etc and keep the log books up to date.. then it shouldnt go down toooo much... but inevitably it will, but doesnt matter, youre getting a great deal, just enjoy it
