    Default Series One or Two

Hi I have bought a VS Calais It has mismatched sized rims-bloke wanted his rims and give me some real shitty ones- and was wondering what size rims tthe standard ones are. From what i've been told the series ones have 15" whereas the series 2 had 16"s.Is this correct or just crap and also how do I tell what series my calais? Does it go by the build date or something?

Easy to fake but one way by looking is the indicators, series 2 are orange and round while series 1 are orange and square

Series 1 calais wheels are 15x6 and were used on the series 2 Berlina's, silver painted multi spoke with a curve in the spokes and centre cap covering the nuts.
Series 2 Calais used 16x7 and were the same as series 1 statesmans, full face machined wheel with no holes and machined centre cap covering the nuts.
series 2 started in June 96, usually have a series11 badge under the rear calais badge.

Series 2 Calais' are ****in easy to pick. They have 1/4 tome, series one and all VR have the normal 2 tone.

Not sure on the wheels, but the VS Calais def. came with 16s, not sure if it was both or not tho/
