bought this car late last year its a 1997 vs series 2 (9c1 ) v6 interceptor
from what i have found out there were only a few made before they went to vt
it has full books and the purchaser of it was commissioner of qld police ,
it has duel airbags, limit slip diff , irs, abs,fe2 suspention ,engine sump guard all electric windows
and is mint green colour,my question is , are these vs 9c1s something that people want, its just such a nice car it seems a pitty to be used as family car
218klms on clock ,anyone know what it maybe worth
9C1 replaced the BT1 code when the series VT started so nothing special
though this is the first VS 9C1 though possible as its a late model.
WK
Just out of interest, what does the compliance plate show for month/year of manufacture?
Thanks.
Police cars are worth(less) than a normal spec one. Mainly for the fact they spend the first year or so of their life being thrashed!
Why anyone would want something thats been treated with no disregard (rental car rules apply here) and holes in the dash (and sometimes roof depending on the job the car did)

Why would a commisioner of police buy a BT1 when he sits at a desk all day probably and could afford something alot pricier, seems a bit odd to me he would of owned a chase car when he didnt need one and if he was into commodores he could of easily afford a HSV with commisioner salary?
edit: I just noticed it says 'v6' now im even more confused
it may have been bought by the commissioner of police, but who says he ever drove it?
I'm pretty sure all cop cars are owned/registered to commisioner of police.
