Help air con cuts out

Hi guys having a problem with my vs air con ..when i turn on the air con it blows out of the face vents then switches to feet only i put it on face and feet setting and occasionally it will come back on to face but only for a couple of minutes need my air con help !!!

I have the same problem. Ill try remember what someone told me was wrong and get back to you. something to do with a solenoid or something i think.

It is probably the vacuum solendoid block, see:

The image posted by Surfwagon shows it (black thing with 5 yellow holes) below the radio.

If it isn't this you have a vacuum leak, but what you described sounds like the solenoid block. I wrote a thread about cleaning them - a lot of hassel for little return. Get a new one ~$100 (don't pay any more), and reasonably easy to fit (20 mins work if you know how to pull the console apart)

Hi took it get fixed today defenately the vacuum solendoid block was very dusty in there... will just have new one fitted...just incase it s**ts itself again thanks guys for your help im sure ill be back to ask more ??? soon bye for now
