This may or may not be helpful - I bought a VS with a factory fitted alarm, and the alarm would go off seemingly randomly (not necessarily on hot days). Strangely the interior light would also blow at the same time.

Turned out that a wire related to the alarm that ran through the rear window pillar (on the drivers side) had the insulation worn through. I can't remember details, but it was either an earth that was shared with the interior light????? or an interior light wire was worn through at the same spot.

Anyway I bought the car second hand at a Toyota dealership and it was still under the 3 month warranty. It took the guy all day to figure the problem out - if it wasn't under warranty I would hate to think what it would have cost!

My guess is that you also have a wire that is worn through somewhere, but I can't help you any more than that. Is there anything else that blows, or you that you are having problems with?

Rough idling according to most people is likely to be the idle air control valve (IAC valve). Pull off the throttle body and clean the pintle. Also if the throttle body looks dirty give it a clean too.

No idea what your talking about regarding the sensor at the back of the motor. I don't have a VR, but it could be the MAP (manifold air pressure) sensor???

Also can you use some puncuation and seperate each thought with paragraphs - It would make it much easier to read.
