changing indicator from square to round

i want to change my square vs series 1 orange indicators to the series 11 round clear indicators... first of all how do i go about it and second is there any thing that can go wrong

It's an easy job....but mainly, make sure you have the swap over indicator right next to you....I let go of the wires to go get mine and they dropped back inside the car...

But um, to get them of you just push them either towards the front, or rear of the car....take the bulb out, put it in the new indicator, and put that back in the same way...

str8 swap mate clip on, clip off. Try to get genuine holden ones, off a vt or later, much better fit then a lot of after market ones.

Only thing that can be wrong is the square edges on one of mine had pushed into the paint leaving a indent that is now visible with new ones.

did the same thing to mine- a cut/polish will clear up any scratches/marks left over by the light clips- worked on mine

Also don't forget to make sure the new clear lights are running with the yellow bulbs. Defectable in QLD if running clear lenses with clear bulbs for indicators.

I have them on the Stato, they look heaps better clear then yellow.But the old owner had to fit the yellow bulbs to get the RWC for her.
