VS clicking sound rear

hi
The other day (after getting a front wheel alignment done, after new tyres),
the car (VS series 1, 5 speed, live rear axle) started making this metallic sorta sounding noise coming from what i can judge as the rear right (could be left also but unlikely) It has an LSD fitted and my friend reckons its this (im hoping its not coz its reasonably new)
anyone had this problem before?
could it just be that shield thingo near the brakes?
or is it in fact the diff?

edit:
Nevermind turns out when they changed my tyres they left some piece of metal (possibly a wheel weight) inside the tyre (doh) which is making the noise
