interior paint..
I just bort a VR and the people who has it before me paints half of the inside white. They havnt used undercoat or topcoast and its peeling off andhas sratches everywhere!
What's a good method of getting all the paint off so it can be re-done??
The door trims, pillars, center console, most the of car has being done like it!

Go to a wreckers and buy another console, pillars etc, and leave it stock colour. Painted interiors look tacky and crap.
Nahh. Heaps better than stocko, and im not buying all the bits 2 re do it. I just want 2 know how to get this paint off.

You will probably have to sand it off, use paint thinners maybe, or just buy new gear.

go get it covered by a motor trimmer. it will look so much better. a mates daughter bought one with painted interior. we stripped it out and bought replacements from a wrecker.
Ok well! Talkd 2 old MatE at Autobarn and he said that paint thinner will melt the plastik and 2 try acetone. Mixed results tho, it hepld loosing up the paint but didn't take itoff like I would of hoped. I had 2 sook it for a while before it workd good enuff.
But anyway I got the shits, and just figured we'd go over the white paint. Even tho our methods aint probly the best
We put black under coat which ended up turning grey, then sprayd Matt Black bout 30mins later.
After that we put a light coat of silver down then waited about 5 mins and threw on the Purple we had. Then straight after we finishd the purple we threw on a layer or 2 of topcoat.
As much as you guys wouldn't agree, it actually turns out reallllly good!
Quicker and easyer then lettiing everyting dry.
But the purple went light pink/matt purple if we didn't put down topcoat straight after. Maybe cuz the weathers shit as and rainy but ahhwell!
Im happy with it, and its a shitload better then the crappy white that was on it.
So yas might not agree with how iv done it, but this is the 1st time and I can't see a problem with it.

im intrested in seeing some pics now, mat purple sounds good, ive only seen white in side and it looks tackey

Well my fone isn't the best with pix cuz it turns out black.
Its not quiet matt purple, its shinney but real dark. I didn't want light purple cuz it was a bit gay

painted interiors can look good if you get the color scheme and the blend correct.
It is usually when people go all one color the same shade that it looks horrible, and then only one color with only two shades isn't so great either.
there are people who come to your house and help design how you want your interior color schemes to be, etc, etc (This is for the house, not the car) but im sure if you asked around one of them could apply those skills to a car.
in either case, good job and glad to hear you are happy with your interior.
Well im only paintin the whitel bits, the rest, being the marjority is a darky sorta grey. It seems to match up quiet good
When I have it all done ill put sum pix up of the whole car.. Wnt be for a while now cuz didn't pass roady :'(
