    Talking lowerin VR commo executive

    hey guys how are ya?
i know this question might get asked a fair bit and i apologize if its a stupid question..
but how much would it cost to lower just the back of a VR commodore?
I do not want to chop the springs either, any other cheap ways of lowering it without damaging the springs or suspension?
    thanks for ya help,

what is your car irs or live axle? if its live axle a real cheap thing to do to lower it a bit is remove the spring insulators, otherwise springs should cost $150 and are easy enough to fit yourself if you have a jack and axle stands

Any normal mechanic will be able to fit them, shouldnt cost any more than $50 to fit.
Springs can cost any where from $100 to $200 new, depending who you know or where u work. But you can get second hand sets pretty cheap u just have to keep your eyes open

In the penrith autobarn there are spring compresors for lowering your car and they are like 80 for the set they are on ebay too the item number is 150324214987 just put it in the search bar. I don't know how good they are because ive never used them but if you get them tell me how you go.

I would suggest getting an adjustable pan hard rod if your car has live axel.. this is more of a saftey issue, and it also protects your cars suspension a little more!!!
i would highly recommend pedders, most pedders places i have been have always been really helpfull, and provide a great service to your car!
also there good on the hip pocket!

if u want just lower but no real performance. i'd just buy some king springs off ebay...like 50 for just the rear. not hard to fit. worst case senario you could just cut your old ones to get em out then throw the king springs in. ive done it like that a few times take like 10 mins. but for any sort of performance i'd recomend pedders, they are lower and are way stiffer. but i think theyre more expensive.
