im about to strip my seized engine down and see if it can be saved. if its able to rebuilt im goin to twin turbo the engine and generally build it up stronger and faster. but before this happens i want to get a rough price on what its all gonna cost.
so, does anyone know of any good sites where i can get a half accurate price on the bits i want?
cheers
Jarrod
If it aint broke, dont fix it.
Just my 2 cents worth but I'd think twice before rebuilding a seized motor - you'd be better buying a well worn but running motor that hasn't been stressed to the point of failure and doing that one up or buying a good late model low mileage Ecotec and just adding the breathing apparatus.
yeah, i have bought a running engine. its currently in the car. im not sure if i want to just strap a turbo to the running one and hope for the best. but i still have a few months warranty. i tryed that comeracing.com.... very unorganised site, i gave up on it.

Their site isn't great because they spend their time building engines. If you're serious I'd give it another go:
