Throttle questions

Hi all i was just wondering what would be in putting in a new throttlebody into my Vs SS and what size is it orignally ?
and would a ls1 throttlebody be any better ?

I think the originals were 65mm dia. You can get some modified 70mm units on ebay.

Muttleys right. V6's are 60mm, V8's are 65mm. You can get 70mm ones off Ebay fairly cheap just swap over. The better ones have steel butterflies not brass. Works good with a HSV CAI. Im not sure LS1's fit though. And stay clear of ones that say they are 71mm the walls of the body are too thin and can crack if the hose clamp is done up too tight.
