neons can be easily found at supercheap auto and autobarn, either plug into ciggy lighter or cut them up and wire in the positive and negative wires with a switch

why would you want neons??? ugh!

well what ever! ok firstly you need to know that neons like most lighting like that require a transistor this allows them to work...
So that being said you can pick them up from supercheap, or autobarn... if not there pleanty of places online you can grab these from eg PC Case Gear, Quality case accessories and components look under lighting...
now once you have these you'll need to ascertain wheather or not you can afford to have an auto electrician install these! and where to be more precise!
these neon's and cathodes are typically a 12v unit, they'll need to be wired in so that it's not messing with the rest of your cars electrics, and placed somewhere they will not be dangerous to you eg dangling between your feet around your peddles!
I would tell you to seek more information about having these things in your car from people who do road worthy tests but each state is different, some will not allow these to be in the car, others will... who know.. but that's up to you!
ummmm, as for LED's same goes, there cheap and for these things I would suggest an auto electrician, or someone who is very handy with electrics!

Hey mate, it's possible to buy neon tubes from Supercheap and such car auto stores, but for the boot your best bet would be to get "LED Strips" I prefer these over the neons as they are flexible, they don't "break" anywhere as easy as neons do, they use less power and don't emit any heat.

The strips are 12V ready, so all you need to do is put plug the positive and negative wires on (either onto a switch, or for the boot light you can just use the existing boot light wires), where as some neons will also come with a "inverter" box thing that you will also need to mount (usally the size of a match box, so not THAT big, but can be a pain)

As for the bulbs for the roof light, you can buy them from most electrical stores I believe, but I will get back to you on where to by the best ones.

You best option would be to contact Phreddy, although he is going around Australia at the moment so it would be a couple of weeks before he can do it for you, other than that, gett eh stuff you want and ask an auto elec to do it for you.

or if you have the money, pay my petrol and I'll drive up and do it ^_^

must be a kid or a wanker who watches too many movies.
neons are for wankers and are illegal in nsw if you have them turned on while driving.
blow off valves are for turbos and for wankers. the bigger the noise the bigger wanker you are.
dump the idea. thats your best bet.

To install your neons i know that my local Alberts car audio pplz install neons undercar or interior..
MotoQuipe Is another place that you can get neons or interior LED's
I prefer LEDS because less power usage and can be alot brighter
thought the one good thing about neons is that its a costant flow of light not lil LED's

    anwyz catch

its really quite simple to put them in yourself, id say paying someone else to do it would make it cost too much for something which is debatable on whether it looks good anyway.

and im not even sure why you would want a BOV in the first place dude? it does sound like you have been watching too much Fast and the Furious...

I think he's one of those "ricer" people, sorry for the use of the term as i don't like using it, but there's no other way to describe this person, he wants to fancey his ride up with the use of neons, crappy blue paint, fluffy dice, and a BOV with out a form of forced induction...
I personally feel this person will become yet another young driver caught up in the world of trying to impress his mates only to wrap himself around a tree...
Honestly, movies like the fast and the furious are not real... sheesh...

Regardless, the guy has been banned from the forums now, presumably for abusing anybody and everybody. With the remarks he made and the aggressive behaviour he was spouting, it doesn't surprise me he only lasted a few days. He's probably over at Street Commodores forum saying "**** YOU ALL, THE BLUE PAINT LOOKS AWESOME"
