Leads falling off

Hey recently been having problems with my spark plug leads falling off when i give the car some and it revs fairly high but only on 2 od the cylinders, replaced the leads and plugs about 4 months ago and ever sinse that its been happening, probably happened about 4 times , anyone have any idea?

What leads did you buy.

You can take the leads off and if you look inside it, its basically a round metal clip that sits onto the spark plug.

Get some needle nose pliers and just close the pins up abit. That way its tighter onto the plug.

Make sure you dont break it though its a small circular piece.

Maybe try it on the old ones just for pratice first

Yeah sounds like you have busted clips, just create a smaller tolerances for the clips by bending them in a little, though if it was be id buy brand newies, but that's just me.

yeh i think ile just go buy some top guns then, they were bosch supersport i think

Just get some pliers and crush the connector a little (while it is off the spark plug). When you push the connector back on it will sit nice and tight on the spark plug. Just a little though. Little bit at a time, take a couple of goes if you need.

It's also possible you are not pushing the connector far enough onto the sparkplug to lock onto the nipple - I find smearing the inside of the connector with silicone grease allows the connector to slip on with ease and you can feel the connector lock on.
