G'day guys,
Once again i am in need of some how information about replacing engine mounts, as this forums is lacking a detailed guide or a "beginners guide to"
so anyways if anyone here has had experiance in replacing these I would very much appreciate a detailed guide with what is required to replace these, what is needed, and hopefully some pics as well...
Know that by providing an extremely detailed how to, this can then go into the how to section for others also to view and benefit from!
Thanks guys much appreciated!![]()
you need a block of wood, a jack, and some spanners...
Place the jack under the engines sump, put the block of wood ontop of the jacks face, this will prevent the sump from becoming dented. Jack up until youve just made contact with the sump , undo the a/c bracket bolts and slide the a/c unit to the side (you cant remove the unit as it will hit the body) (also note- one of the a/c bolts will hit the body as well and cant be fully removed) now theres 4 nuts to each engine mount, two on the top, two on the bottom. It will take a beginner a bit of fiddling around to access the nuts but is quite doable at home, once the nuts are off you will have to jack the motor up a little then squeeze the old mounts out.
Replacement is same as removal
Top you help me to thanks dudes
