hey
noob qn but apart from the plastic hinge in the bottom right hand corner, is there anything else keeping the glovebox in? cause the stupid hinge wont come out so maybe there is something else
nope, i think thats it. The hinge pin is black plastic. Wiggle it and pull it out.
cheers, ill just persevere with it, easy to replace if i break it anyway lol
Use a big arse flat head screwy and wedge it to the right of the pin from the inside, and force it to the left...
i think you gotta lever up the plastic on one side to let the bump stops past, so you can drop the glove box far enough to slide it out too.
lever the pin out...if this fails replace the car....
remove the black pin then pull it down and across on a angle it should work if not there's always a chainsaw.
On a more serious note, whilst you have that flathead in there trying to remove the pin, just give the glove box a little shake... might make life easier

My Holden doesn't leak, It's just marking it's territory!
you use a flat head screwdriver on the plastic plug to the right of the glove box.
hold the glove box level with the way it normally sits and yank to the right (away from the door) - giving a wiggle does help in case ur not perfectly level... u might find it takes a bit more of a pull the first time u do it...
