    Default Vr temp over heating??

    hey...my vr keeps overheating and almost going totally to the red but if i turn it off and restart it seems to fix itself can anybody please give me advice on whether ive cracked the heads or if its another problem..thank u

    I'd check the coolant level (in the reserve tank), followed by inspecting the radiator for leaks, if your radiator's empty then that's likely to be the issue - other suggestions are checking the thermostat and the engine oil

    and also checking for a block/ flushing your radiator also remember to cool the engine down you can turn the heater on in your car and over about 5mins it will lower the temperature, make sure you got your windows down though its guna get a bit hot lol.

    could be your water pump i did mine two weeks ago check for leaksrefill your water and coolant regularly dont drive it if its hitting red

    im having some issues with mine at the moment, the air con dosnt work and the main fan also dont work.

    i have 50 50 mix of holden glycole but on a 30 deg day the fans never cut in when they were ment to, i have narrowed it down to a electrical issue with the main fan back feeding to the air con system but need a wiring digram to contune my dignostics.

    maybe your fan is not cutting in correctly like mine. ???

    does it go down on temp when sitting on a faster speed like say 80 or 100 keeping in mind it will take 5 min to cool with the air flow, and dose it just get hot a lights etc when idling
