VS Berlina hit a kerb at speed and bent the suspension and n/s rail. repair shop wants $3000 just to straighten the rail! Is this even near reasonable?
i remember wen i hit a kerb sideways in my vn at 70kms, moved the whole diff over, the cost to use the machine to fix it wasnt even that high, i think you may be getting ur leg pulled man, ask around elsewhere.
I've seen wrecked VS's for sale for less than $1000 so I say it's a bit unreasonable when you can get the parts you need from another car
without seeing pics it hard to say.
whos to say how bent it really is?
If they say $3000 to fix go get some more quotes, and if they come back bout the same i'd say it's a total loss.
Save your yourself the haslle and just go get a new car because it will probably never driver aswell and you'll be dissapointed that you wasted your hard earned cash as i did on my VH SL/E, and on the bright side you could wreck it and make some extra cash on top(not much of a bright side but better than nothing)![]()
