Default Hoses next to brake booster / VS 5 litre

Hey guys, i was wondering, the 2 hoses right of the brake booster, just above the very back of the drivers side rocker cover, what are they? When i pull the rocker covers off, those 2 hoses being OUT OF THE WAY would make life a million times easier. They are a ****ing pain in the ass.

There are two small hoses 1/2 inch approx where you are talking on the v8'S (possibly V6 same) which are the fuel feed lines to the fuel rail. I reckon they would be what you are talking about because they are in a crappy position right there

Ahhh those are the ones dude. Hmmm, that might make it a little harder then. Damn. That rear bolt on the drivers side rocker cover on the 304's are an absoloute PRICK to get in and out, i picked up a 3/16 LONG arm hex key with a sticky rubber grip on it, was still a pain. Between those 2 hoses and the brake booster, it's a pain in the arse.

    Thanks mate!

That bolt sux big arse. I dont know if you got the bigger VT booster cobez, but that just makes it twice as bad too.
I used a ball drive allen key with the little rubber bit to hold the bolt on to, was the only way i could see it being possible get it back in.

And yeah it hink o'l mates on the money, one of them is a fuel line and the other i cant confirm, but vacume would sound right.

Yeah your tellin me man, it's a bitch. I don't have a VT brake upgrade yet, so i'd say it's just a normal PBR VS booster. Can get my fingers in between the rocker cover and the booster, but my knuckles definantly won't squeeze in, i'd have to break them to squeeze them in

Ok reviving my old thread on this.

Anyone know the best way to get that drivers side rocker cover off around those 2 hoses?

Im only clutchin at straws here for lack of ideas but after you get it out would it be possible/easier to replace the bolt with a length of endless thread down there and just lock 2 nuts on it in the right position to pull the rocker cover down and lock 2 nuts at the top to put your spanner onto to then do it up. So 4 nuts on the thread all up.
As i said man the only way i could do it was with a long shafted ball drive allen key with the little rubber knob built into one face on the ball of the key to hold the bolt.

Nah nah, not the bolt, i mean getting the actual cover itself off with those hoses in the way. The bolt is easy with a ball ended hex key. Plus i have a 5mm hex key socket that fits an extension so that's easy.

I wanna know how to get the rocker cover off with those hoses in the way.
