engine enamel on eterior door handles

as title says can i use it to paint teh exterior door handles of my vs? like will it fade? i have used it on some wirper arms and its pretty tough paint so yeh

Yeah you can use it, if i was going to use it on the exterior i would shoot some clear over it for protection.

YEah if your painting door handles its fine.

i wouldnt paint my car with enamels these days. But a handle will be sweet you wont even notice the difference.

sweet thanks guys. as i brought some anti glare paint that was suposably shinny but didnt give a glare...anyway its good stuff but the color on it now is a gloss ...well its 2 tone for some reason....will post up a pick as its pretty weird as both front door handles are like this but not the rear

Whats the problem. Did you paint all 4 handles?

and 2 are shiny 2 are dull????

haven't painted them yet, only tried on a spare handle i have lying around. The pic i posted is the handles on me VS, for some reason this is how they are, im not sure why they look like this but both the front ones are like this...looks like there was a sticker over it or something


i want to paint them which i will be doing soon and will just use teh gloss black

As a guess... I would say your car has spent some time with its front end under a tarp?
