Have you had the door trims off to see if the wires are connected?
The car may have had repairs by a previous owner and could have been damaged.

Follow this advice. They get worse over time, and temperamental. I know with mine, sometimes the left one will not lock, other times its the right side, and other times both lock like normal!

Yep best to just swap them out for newies, i know ive had to swap my front passengers one because it was extremely temperamental at times, swapping it solved the problem.

Not nesacarily. Just try lubing up the tie rod where it goes through the guide across the back door first. Plus give everything a lube up and it can fix the problem.
Mine used to play up in the wet alot. The moisture in the air used to make the guides sticky.

Not really worth the effort when new locks are soooooo cheap and it means you wont have to worry about it for another 10 years
