Seems to hot

hey guys

after driving my car today i got home and parked it and felt that the front of the bonnet closest to the drivers side headlight was a little bit to hot and also the front of the drivers side qaurter panel was also very hot. the temp gauge while driving stayed at normal levels. just wondering if there is a problem here or all is good? thanks in advance

Sounds normal given the heat that is thrown out by the engine.

Thats the side where the coolant overflow reservoir is located - I'd check that it's got sufficient coolant in it...just to be safe. That side is also the side that the cooling fan seems to direct most air so as dufus say it could be normal....but just sniff around to check. A long shot is that the tyre on that side was a bit flat and got hot (thats a reeeaaal long shot).
