    Default vs berlina flywheel balance??

i have a s2 vs v6,converted to manual t5.it vibrates...how do i go about fixing this problem,is it a simple balance?...not sure where the flywheel came from..8 bolt,no dowls or holes in it,can sit in any position it wants, but the crank has 2 holes offcentred..the flywheel also has weight on the back built into one side..anyone know wats goin on or wat to do??does mirror balance make it symetrical so i can put it on in any position??

pull it out get the fly and clutch kit balanced.

most balancing places will have a certain factory 'standard'.

I would be checking the spiggot as well, you say the flywheel has a weight on it, so i imagine it would be a factory balance weight, only thing i can think with the flywheel is maybe it needs to sit on in a certain point,

im guessing you had a flexplate on the back of the original motor before, that would have a weight on it and would have lined up with the 2 align holes on the crank, or you should see a mark on the back of the flexplate where it covered the 2 holes i would sit that back on the crank , take notice of where the weight sits on that once its aligned and put your flywheel back on with the balance weight in the same spot as is sat with the flexplate on , could be harmonic balancer but unlikely as you would have noticed it before.

Did you have to change tailshafts as part of the conversion, if so check the uni joints and check there is a balance weight on the tailshaft still

if it had no spiggot in there i would be almost 100% sure that would have been the cause of your vibration

the new motor you have to put in , was that from an auto as well
