Hey everyone, Im putting the wires from the sub and stuff like that in now and I have to take out one side of the carpet. (or maybe both Im not sure yet) and I'm wondering if its a simple job of just pulling out the little side bits near the doors. Will I need to take out the bottom of the back seat?
And is there any other things I need to remove.
I've done a search and found nothing on this btw.![]()
It depends on exactly what wires you are running. Just power and rca'a or speaker wires aswell? On my car I have run the amp power and remote/trigger wire together down the drivers side (under the removable plastic sill cover) and then done the same thing with the rca's along the passenger side. You will have to remove the bottom half of the back seat to get the wires from inside the car into the boot area. If you need to run speaker wires aswell then run them down the centre of the car under the carpet. You will need to also remove the complete centre console to achieve this. Always keep the different types of wires seperated like this as running them all together can create static and distorsion through the speakers.
just put them through ur centre console under the centre carpet under your backseat into the boot... its simple enough
Just run them under the sill panels, it will be the easiest option and you wont have to disturb your carpet.
