    Default air bag suspension

Hey, i just wanna hear peoples opinions on air bag suspension.. how well does it perform.. is it bouncy or anything?.. would it still be suitable for th track?

i was looking at this kit on ebay which is pretty cheap.. all i'd have to buy is a compressor and a small tank and some valves and switches so it wouldnt cost too much more.

Thumbs up Look alright for the price

Looked at them before but for differnt reasons than you i tow alot and didn't want my car sitting up in the air like a 4X4 so i thought that i could lower it back down to normal (lowered 2") while not towing and was planning on getting some in April.
And bonus looks like there Aussie made

I've only had the air inflated shocks, they were rough and hard would never reccomend them. But the bags are completely different an i cant comment as iv never had them.

I dont think many people have even had them in their cars long enough to test their durability. I highly doubt after 3-4 years in the car it would still work, would be nice to get the car stuck 1mm from the ground and cant raise it so you cant mount any kerbs etc

Look at truck suspension, same thing. They last fairly well, the only down side is comfort. More air = more height but a rough ride, less air = low but gives a wallowy ride. It takes a bit of trial and error to get them right, but if is just for looks then go for it. You will also need a very good set of adjustable shocks to tune to the ride level the bags give. (Not height, comfort)
