Default How to replace side moulds on commodore?

    Hey there fellows,
Was just wondering i bought some new red side moulds off ebay for my VS S Pac, but i want to take off the current moulds that i have an replace them with the red ones. Is there any type of glue, double sided tape or product i need to stick them on? Cheers

Originally, holden put them on with one thin strip of double sided tape and a small bead of urethane. The double sided tape pretty much just holds it in place while the urethane dries.

Get yourself a tube of Sikaflex from Super Cheap Auto, Autobarn, Bunnings, etc. Also one of those silicon tube guns. After removing the old ones, make sure the new ones are clean using wax & grease remover and then run a thin bead of sikaflex on the new mould, then making sure you use steady hands, place the new mould on your car in the correct position. Push it hard up against the car for a good while (until your arms hurt or about 30-60 seconds).
