    Default Dropping steering rack

Is it neccessary to remove the fluid lines to drop/push across the steering rack so i can remove extractors? I'm kinda hoping i don't have to drain the fluid.

Nah. Just undo the two large vertical bolts that hold it to the front K frame. You may also need to undo it from the steering column which is also quite easy. From there slide it off the mount (pull it straight back) and it will dangle quite happily.
