VS Series 3 Ute - Hard Tonneau / Cover (and red stripe removal)

Hi all,

Just wondering how much I would be able to get a hard lid for the back of my ute. Im from Brissie andI want one as cheap as possible as its more for tidying up the ute (cosmetic reasons). I have seen them for $1500 upwards, however was wondering if there are cheaper alternatives.

Also, I have an S Pac blue ute and it has horrible red striping around the middle of the ute. Would there be much work involved in removing this detail. I like the look of utes without this feature.

Cant help you with the hard lid sorry but below is a link that should be pretty heplful in removing your door moulds. Do a search too as there is a few more threads like this floating around.

Believe it or not, I'm after the front bumper mould with the red stripe. Yeah yeah I know I can hear all the voices in my head saying "dont be a ****", but I want one. Any chance of you selling yours to me??

Thanks Cander. Looks like a bit of work involved so I think ill leave the red striping for now.

Also, I was thinking instead of putting a hard lid on the ute, I might just drop in a new liner for $395 (and save some $$$). Any thoughts on this.
